Plant trees in the Diocese of Oxford’s
Communion Forest

Together we can protect creation and grow a fairer, safer future for all who live in it. Every £2 donation plants a tree.

Take action for the future of our planet today through the power of trees.

  • The Diocese of Oxford forest is an expression of our care for creation. It is our contribution to the 'Communion Forest', a global initiative of the Anglican Communion comprising forest protection, tree growing and eco-system restoration

  • Each tree planted will provide food and income for today and help protect nature for tomorrow for people on the frontline of the climate crisis.

  • The trees will be planted by local communities on the frontline of the climate crisis in East Africa as part of our partnership with the International Tree Foundation, the world's oldest tree planting charity.

The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it Psalm 24:1

“At the Diocese of Oxford, we believe in planting hope and restoring creation. Our forests is our practical commitment to our planet and all who call it home. We cannot show love to God and neighbour without acting for the good of creation. Join us in doing both by planting trees that transform both landscapes and lives. ” - Bishop Steven

Take action with the world’s oldest tree planting charity

International Tree Foundation works with communities in East Africa and the UK to plant trees and restore forests in places where we can make the fastest most lasting impact for the communities that plant the trees and on the future of our planet.

We understand that to make real difference, we need to go beyond just putting a tree in the ground. When done properly, tree planting can transform threatened landscapes and support communities to thrive.

Our mission is urgent, but we are not alone. Every tree we plant is a testament to the power of collective action—the belief that, together, we can restore our planet and create a future where forests stand tall and communities stand even taller.

“Tree planting is life for me. I sell seedlings to earn a livelihood. I used the money I got from tree seedlings to take my first-born son to college.”
