Information & History

Mottisfont Estate dates from 1200 A.D. when the Augustinian Priory was established. The estate today comprises of 1600 acres of farmland and woodland lying in the valley of the river Test. The Abbey and Gardens are open to the Public.

5 miles north of Romsey, the Family Tree Scheme Area lies immediately west of the centre of the Village.
